CVS deals 6/28-7/4

Extra Bucks (EB)=similar to the RR from walgreens, but these print on the bottom of the actual sales receipt. Please note, you need a CVS card for all the deals.

CVS 6/22

I went to CVS and purchased the 32 count Always Infinity pads for $0.99. They are normally priced at $10.79, but for some reason they are on sale for $4.99. This isn't pictured in the sales ad this week so make sure you do a price check. So I used 2-$4.00 off coupons from 6/7PG (procter and gamble insert from Sun paper). I absolutely love these pads. They are really thin and comfortable. Even if you don't have a coupon these are more than 50% off.

Jewel deal til 6/24

I guess jewel is honoring the "spend $20, get $10" deal on the ConAgra. I just did this deal to make sure it worked before I posted it.
I did 3 different transactions, this is what it looked like:

transaction 1:

used 3-$1 coupons for the Michelina's
paid $0.29(rolled over last weeks $10 catalina from the unilever deal)

transaction 2:
5 Hunt's ketchups

paid $0.23(applied the $10 catalina from transaction 1)

transaction 3:
12 cans Hunt's tomatoes
paid $2.27 (applied $10 catalina from transaction 2)

I also left with a $10 catalina from the last transaction.
I have no idea what I am going to do with all this stuff, but I think donation is definitely an option.

Kotex 14-24 pack pads, 18 pack tampons, 48-64 pack liners are on sale $2.99. Buy 3 get $3RR, buy 2 get $2RR. Use the coupons here to save $2/2 pads, $1.5/2 liners, $1.5/2 tampons. There were also coupon in the 6/14 SS I think they were $.75 coupons. Deal scenario buy 3/$8.97 -$3RR-$2 coupon -$.75 coupon=$3.23/3 packs. Less than $1.10/pack.

Lysol cleaners 16-32oz. or 35 wipes 2/$5. Go here and check the coupon index because there were a bunch of coupons in previous Sun papers, just type in Lysol.

With the Walgreens in-ad coupon for 6-7oz Skintimate shave cream $1.99 use the $1 coupon here to save $1. Total after coupon $1. Don't forget to present the mfc coupon first (the coupon you printed) then the walgreens in-ad coupon last.

Speed stick or lady speed stick deordorant 2.3-63oz is $2.99-$2RR= $.99

Vitamin or Organix Shampoo are BOGO (buy one get one free) starting at $6.99. Send in for the mail in rebate. The forms are hanging arount the necks of the bottles. 2 bottles= free!

Great filler item this week are the royal instant pudding 4/$1 with walgreens in-ad coupon.

filler items= are the item you are forced to purchase when you have more manufacture(mfc) coupons than items. Please remember the RR are considered mfc coupons. Walgreen coupons don't count as mfc coupons so you can use as many of these and not have it count as an actual coupon. Example: say I purchase 1 item and it cost $3, but I have a $1 mfc coupon and I want to use a $2RR. In this case I have 2 coupons and 1 item. So I would need to purchase 1 filler item to make up for my second coupon. It doesn't matter what the filler item is, as long as it's cheap so your out of pocket expense stays low.

CVS 6/14-6/20

At CVS they have Style Science lens cleansing cloths for $.99 ea. When you buy two you will receive a $10 ECB (extra buck reward), limit 1 per card. Please note the ECB will print at the bottom of your receipt and you will need a CVS ExtraCare card for this deal. The wipes are in a pack of 20 in a small silver resealable packet. I found these on the reel that holds the sunglasses near the photo area. The UPC that worked for me 8 83019 00550 7. I also heard that Sun Covers lens cleaners work as well.

Free Chocolate Fridays

Go here and sign up to get a coupon for free bar of chocolate from mars. It's only available on Fridays starting at 8am cst to the first 250,000 people. This actually works I have already received 3 coupons in the mail.

Walgreens 6/14-6/20

St. Ives Body Wash 13.5oz is $2.99, you will receive a $3RR= FREE
RR=register reward. These are coupons that print out after your purchase.



John Frieda root awakening is on sale 3/$15, wyb (when you buy) three you will receive $5RR. There will be coupons in the Sunday paper SS (smartsource) for $3 off.
The deal should look like this:
Buy 3= $15 use 3-$3 coupons= $6 after coupons then you will receive $5RR, so after the RR total is $1/3.




The Hefty one zip bags are bogo (buy one get one) free when you use the coupon inside the Walgreens sales paper, limit 4. The sizes are 18 or 22 quart, 13 or 17 pack. Prices starting at $3.29. There was a coupon in the Sun paper 6/7 rp (red plum) for $1 off. If you have two of these available then the total comes to $1.29/2.
Note: when using a Walgreens sales ad coupon and a manufacturer(mfc) coupon (Sunday paper) present the mfc coupon first and then the Walgreens coupon very last.


The Walgreens reusable totes are on sale for 3/$1 with the sales ad coupon, limit 3. This is a pretty good deal because they normally sell for $.99. These also make great filler items when using up those RR.


Maxwell house coffee is on sale 2/$5, 11.5oz original or 11oz french roast. Use the coupon here and save $2/2. With coupon 2/$3 is pretty cheap!



I think overall the Sunday paper coupons are really important, considering how much money you can save. If you go here and enter code 09JE in the offer code you can get the Sunday Chicago Tribune delivered to your house for $.50. Also if you want extra copies go to the Dollar Tree, available Saturdays, and get them for $1.

CVS 6/7-6/13

First, if you don't have an extra card get one! Without the the CVS Extracard you will not get these deals. The card is free and sometimes they send you coupons in the mail or e-mail.

Dawn Dish Detergent (10.3oz) 2/$2 get $1Eb (EB= Extra Bucks, these are like the RR from walgreens, they will generate on the receipt after you purchase the product), must buy 2 limit1.

Aldi

Aldi has strawberries for $0.49/ lb this week. That sounds like a pretty good deal.
You can freeze fresh strawberries to use them on desserts and smoothies later on.

How to freeze strawberries:
1. Wash berries in cold water and pat dry. Remove stems and leaves with a small, sharp knife. You can either leave them whole or slice them.
2. Place berries on a baking sheet, arranging them close together but not touching each other. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 6 hours. This is called flash freezing.
3. Once the berries are frozen, seal in an airtight container or zippered plastic bag and freeze.
