Jewel deals 7/2-7/8

3 Day Sale:7/2-7/4

Watermelon $2.99 (limit 1) 13-17lbs.

Kraft shredded or chunk cheese 7-8oz. $1.69

Now this is the the really good part for the Kraft cheese....
When you buy 3 you get a $2 catalina, buy 4 get $3, buy 5 or more get $4. The catalina deal runs thru 7/12, but I would suggest buying it during the 3 day sale because the cheese is priced pretty low. NOTE: the catalina deal only works for the cheeses that say "natural" on the packages.
The catalina deal works on these items:
Kraft natural cheese shreds, chunks, cubes, sticks, crumbles, cracker cuts, string/twists, Cracker Barrel chunks, cracker cuts, sticks, slices, Polly-O strings/twists, and Kraft deli fresh slices. REMEMBER the shredded and the chunk (block) are the only ones on sale for $1.69.
Deal scenario: $1.69*5=$8.45-$4 catalina=$4.45/5 things of cheese. Use the $1 coupon here (save $1 on 2lbs of cheese). $3.45/5 cheeses.
So what are you going to do with all this cheese? Well, believe it or not you can freeeze it. It actually freezes very nicely and defrosts quickly.

7/2-7/8 Deals

Organic Bananas are $0.79 lb. I prefer these over the regular, they actually taste really good!

Kellog's Cereal 3/$5 (must purchase 3 to get it for $5)pictured in the ad are Corn Flakes(12oz), Special K Blueberry(11.4oz), and Jumbo Krispies(11.2oz). Use 3 coupon here on the blueberry Special K (need to print on two computers because print limit is only two per computer).
Deal scenario: buy 3 blueberry Special K cereal 3/$5-3(3 $1 coupons)=3/$2 or roughly $0.67 ea.

Another cereal deal...
General Mills cereal (select varieties), they have pictured Cheerios(17oz) and Nature Valley Nut Clusters are on sale for 2/$5. When you buy 3 you get a catalina for FREE milk (up to a $4.50 value). I would probably buy the organic or Oberwise milk to get the maximum out of the catalina, why not get good milk if your not paying for it.
So this deal gets better use 3 coupons from here to save $1/1 Nature Valley Nut Clusters(probably need two computers).
Deal scenario: Buy 3 Nature Valley Nut Clusters $7.50-3 (3 $1 coupons)=$4.50/3 and get a FREE gallon of milk.

Next...
Another catalina deal. This deal isn't nearly as great as last weeks $10 catalina deal. But still something, right?
Drum roll please.....????

Spend $15 on participating Heinz items and get $5 catalina, hopefully the $15 is pre-preferred savings price.

Here are some deal scenarios I came up with:

Classico pasta sauce 15-24oz (btw the creamy alfredo is pretty good)
buy 5/$17.50 pre-preferred price, after preferred 5/$12.50 use 2 $1/2 coupons here (but you have to register)=$10.50-5 catalina=$5.50/5 or $1.10ea.

Bagel Bites 7oz
6/$15 pre-preferred price, 6/$12 after preferred card use 3 coupon here to save $1/2 (probably need two computers) $12-$3 (coupons)=$9-$5 catalina=$4/6 or $0.67ea.
This deal did not work for me. Bummer......look at the post above. You may need to purchase 8.

Smart Ones Classic Favorites and Desserts 5-11oz
5/$16.25 pre-preferred price, 5/$10 after preferred card use 1 $1/5 coupon here $10-$1coupon=$9-$5 catalina=$4/5

Ore-Ida Potatoes 20-32oz (tater tots YUM, have you seen Napoleon Dynamite?)
$15.72/4 pre-preferred price, $13.34/4 after preferred card-$5 catalina=$8.34/4 or $2.08ea

Where's the booze?
Here are the Jewel deal for adult beverages..... anyone thirsty?

Miller and/or Coors beer 24-pack 12oz cans $11.99 (sale price is only for 7/2-7/4), get a free watermelon with in store coupon (up to $4 value).
There is a mail in rebate for $15 when you buy 3 cases of 12-pack bottles or 24-pack cans. I think these are getting hard to find. If your lucky to find one they are located on the beer, check both the bottles and cans of each brand.
Deal scenario: buy 3 watermelons and 3 cases Coors or Miller 2.99*3=8.97-8.97 (3 in-store coupons for watermelon) =$0 +11.99(beer)*3=35.97 submit for mail in rebate $15=$20.97/72 cans of beer or $0.29 per can and 3 FREE watermelons OR
if you don't want the watermelon the 12-pack bottles are on sale for $7.99. $7.99*3=$23.97-$15 mail in rebate=$8.97/36 bottles of beer or $0.25 bottle.
You can also mix and match cans and bottles for the rebate. The rebate is good only if the items are purchased on a single receipt.

I may do this deal if I can find the rebate form. The funny thing is I don't drink beer, but I know plenty of people that do.

Smirnoff Vodka no 21 triple distilled Vodka 1.75 liters or Jose Cuervo Tequila (Silver or Gold) 750ml for $14.99. Buy 2 use the $5/2 coupon 6/28 red plum=29.98-5=24.98/2 roughly $12.50ea. Thats cheaper than Binny's.
